Get Involved with Community Food Box Project!
There’s no shortage of ways you can help fight food insecurity and end food apartheid here in Indianapolis, Indiana, your neighborhood, or even your block!
Below are a few of the ways you can start helping now, and be sure to contact us if you want to collaborate!
1. Sponsor a Food Box
- Do you live in a food desert, or have neighbors facing food insecurity?
- Are you a part of a church, community center, food pantry, or organization?
- Are you a corporation or business who needs advertisement and wants to sponsor a local non-profit?
Look no further! Email us at communityfoodbox2016@gmail.com, call (317)-406-7665, or stop by our office at the Indianapolis Liberation Center. There are multiple opportunities and options to partner with and/or sponsor Community Food Box Project Here are just a few options:
- Install a Community Food Box in your neighborhood, business, organization, or home
- Sponsor your business logo– painted on one of our existing food boxes
- Provide monetary donations here
- Provide in-kind donations for paint, materials, pantry space, transportation, etc.
- Volunteer your time to help fill boxes with food or paint food boxes
- Get creative! How else could YOU help us achieve our mission of providing emergency food assistance to those in need?
2. Donate Food Pantry Items
Purchase non-perishable food items -> Locate and stock a Food Box -> Feed someone hungry
